Wilce Cooke Makes History Being Sworn Into Benton Harbor Mayor’s Office for Second Time

Benton Harbor’s Wilce Cooke was elected to the office of Mayor in the November 2003 election, bringing experience and a “new attitude” for the community and citizens.

“The greatest gift that any man or woman can receive is to have the residents of their community to go to the polls and vote and place them in a position of authority over them and one should never violate their trust. I pledge to never violate the public trust.”
