The Assessors Office is responsible for appraising all real and personal property within the City for the purpose of tax collection. It is the goal of the Benton Harbor City Assessing office to improve the understanding of assessment administration, to collect and share useful information relative to the property tax system and to promote equity in the application of existing property tax law.
